Melinda Sanchez was born in Kentucky and raised in Ohio. She obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, OH in 1993 and worked in various settings within the medical field for over 20 years prior to becoming a real estate professional. She has lived in 6 states and understands first-hand the logistics required for a smooth relocation experience.
Melinda began her career as a professional REALTOR® with Home Team of America in San Antonio, Texas in 2011. She moved to the Bradenton/Sarasota market in 2015 and obtained her Florida real estate license in 2016. She is a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Manatee Network, the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota Manatee Global Business Council, Florida Association of REALTORS® Global Business Committee, and was the recipient of the 2018 REALTOR® of the Year Award for her “strong values, uncompromising integrity and going the extra mile.”
Having worked with both sellers and buyers, domestically and internationally, Melinda has assisted them with their property needs in person and via scheduled video calls, as well as helping to coordinate the shipping of closing documents with local attorneys and title companies for a smooth transaction. She specializes in residential sales and providing her customers “Professional Service with a Personal Touch.”
Melinda is passionate about assisting the underprivileged in other countries and serves as the President of Resolute Hope International, a ministry focused on making a difference in the lives of orphans and widows by providing food, shelter, and skills training to better provide for their families and be productive citizens in their individual communities.
In her spare time, Melinda enjoys spending time at the beach and participating in the many outdoor activities offered in the area with her husband, Rigo, two daughters, Rachel and Isabella, and her Golden Doodle puppy, Miss Scarlett O’Hair.
